My player this week is Kris Lindstrom

Monday: Walked the course even without having a bag lined up. Being a new course, you just can't go out blind and expect to know what you're doing.

This could be the most spread-out course we've ever played. Nine cart rides are on the agenda for tournament rounds and I pity the poor spectators. It's an eight mile walk around this track including a whopping 700 yards from the 17th green to the 18th tee!

Given the impromptu circumstances, necessity deemed we play here. Don't get me wrong, any tournament is better than a week off.

The greens are in good shape but there isn't enough white paint to mark all the bad spots in the fairways. The players will vote tonight on whether to play it up or not.

Tuesday: Picked up Kris Lindstrum through a combination of Pam Kerrigan and her caddy Chip. She's flying in today and we'll play an emergency nine tomorrow morning.

Had our last rules seminar of the year conducted by Robert O. Smith and Angus McKenzie. Covered rules governing the flagstick and specific TIO's on this course.

The ball goes in there!

I think we stumped 'em.

Wednesday: Played the early nine then walked the other side to show Kris the course. This was my third time around this week and it feels like much more.

Kris needed some time to settle down so practice was delayed till this afternoon.

Thursday: An absence of a short game did us in. Seven over on a course that was surrendering to birdies was a bit disappointing but that's golf.

To give you an idea how spread out the front nine is, there are warning signs for spectators not to follow anyone due to the length, 3 miles, and absence of concession stands.

Friday: Played slightly better but still over par. Missed the cut by plenty. So concludes another season on tour. Not a very good year to say the least.

Put out some feelers for Q-School and hope to pick up a bag by the end of next week. If not, I'll still go and work the lot.
