My player this week is Siew-Ai Lim

Monday: Walked the course and checked out a few changes made since last year. The 7th, 8th and 13th holes have been lengthened. Greens are in good shape and the fairways good to fair.

Tuesday: Early practice round with Kimberley Freeman. We played multiple shots, plenty of chips and putts and still only took four hours to play. Why tournament rounds take 4 1/2 to 5 hours is beyond me.

Wednesday: Super easy day.  About an hour of practice and we were done. Siew-Ai was off shopping and I was off to do laundry.

She checked out my site using her hotel's Wi-Fi, which is a much better avenue to view all the pictures. She was surprised at all the player nicknames and liked the Want to Caddie? page.

Thursday: A 30 minute fog delay and late turning morning groups turned our 1:30 tee time into 2:10.

Jekyll and Hyde round today. Everything went right on our first nine, the back, with an eagle on the par 5 16th and a drop from the jewelry concession on 18 which turned into a birdie. Turned -4.

The 2nd nine was a different story. Missed some greens on the edges but couldn't get it up-and-down. Took a trip an the bogey train and didn't get off until we were +1 for the event.

The greens superintendent is keeping this track hard and fast making the course shorter but and the firmest greens we've played all year.

Got a feeling we're going low tomorrow to get us back into it.

Friday: Too few birdies and too many bogies left us with a +4 finish.

Siew-Ai felt she had to hole out her bunker shot on the final hole (so did I) to make the cut. Looks like a birdie might have done it but you can't count on poor play from the rest of the field when it's crunch time.
